  1. NOTA BENE!

  3. We have set up the Mountlist in the CDPD to be unit 0.
  4.  
  5. The other Amiga has to be set up as unit 1 in the DEVS:Mountlist
  6.  
  7. Do not worry, I have made a script which will automatically make a
  8. floppy disk to take over to your other Amiga and Parnet will
  9. automatically be installed for you simply by double clicking on an
  10. icon which you will find in the floppy which the CDPD will produce
  11. for you.

  13. Simply put a formatted disk in drive DF0: and double click on
  14. MAKE_INSTALL_DISK in the PARNET drawer which is located in the
  15. root directory of the CDPD2.

  17. The MAKE_INSTALL_DISK script will make a floppy disk for you to take
  18. to your other Amiga so that it may install PARNET on to it for you.
  19.  
  20. Once the disk has been made go to your other Amiga and load Workbench
  21. as usual.  If you are loading Workbench from floppy disk make sure the
  22. write protect tag is off and you have about 42k of space free on your
  23. boot disk/drive.

  25. I have also put another disk in this drawer, the MAKE_BOOT_DISK (thanks
  26. Jolyon) can be used as a boot disk on an amiga connected to a cdtv and
  27. it will mount ParNet automatically, it will also automatically sense
  28. wether you are using it on a stanrard Amiga or an Amiga CDTV.

  30. If you have any problems making the parnet cable we at Almathera can
  31. sell you one already made for £20 + V.A.T.
